Minimum Qualifications and Skills
- Strong enthusiasm for payroll and HR administration, as well as initial professional experience in this field
- Affinity for numbers, data, and analytics, ideally with first experience in HR reporting or controlling
- A highly diligent, reliable, and structured way of working, combined with professionalism and discretion
- Strong resilience and the ability to work in a focused, efficient, and solution-oriented manner even under tight deadlines
- Reliability in teamwork and enjoyment of a dynamic, international environment
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Basic knowledge of current labor, income tax, and social security law
- First experience in employee on- and offboarding, including the organization of administrative and system-related processes
- A keen eye for process improvements and the ability to implement them together with the team
- Knowledge of US payroll is a plus
What the role is about
- Responsibility for preparing and reconciling payroll for a defined group of employees in cooperation with external service providers, and acting as a point of contact for all payroll-related matters
- Correspondence with providers of company pension schemes, as well as communication with health insurance funds and authorities
- Support in year-end closing tasks and preparation of payroll-related accruals
- Administration and processing of payroll-related benefits, as well as handling certifcates (e.g., preparation of employment and income certificates)
- Responsibility for ensuring smooth HR operational processes in the areas of employee on- and offboarding and contract management, including the coordination and execution of all related administrative and system tasks
- Participation in HR controlling, such as preparing HR-related KPIs and creating the monthly group reporting
- Contribution to a variety of (international) projects
