In this role, you will fundamentally shape the future of how people meet, connect and fall in love worldwide. Our Corporate Development team is a highly ambitious staff unit to the CEO that aims to continuously challenge the status quo and unlock new growth potentials. You will be in the driver seat to identify and conceptualize new business opportunities, working hand-in-hand with our group’s management team, as well as executing your projects with the wider organization.
This position is located at our headquarters office in Hamburg.
Minimal requirements for this role
- Relevant experience in strategy advisory & projects, e.g. in top management consulting, corporate development or chief-of-staff role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with individuals at all levels and across different cultures
- Strong business acumen and an exceptionally structured and analytical workstyle, both quantitatively & qualitatively
Preferred skills and experience
- Fluent in German and English
- Project management experience of converting strong concepts into concrete and sustainable business impact
- Practical experience in a start-up or in the technology or consumer brand industry
- High Proficiency in MS Office, especially Powerpoint and Excel
- High affinity for the technology industry and digital business models
What the role is about
- Identify and conceptualize major growth opportunities (organic and inorganic) or other high-impact levers towards the company´s strategic priorities
- Lead and drive the implementation of key strategic projects in cross-functional teams & cross-cultural environments
- Conduct complex business and market analyses, as well as track the overall market development, competitor landscape and consumer behavior & trends
- Perform ad-hoc business analyses or insights initiated by the management board, e.g. for board meetings or investment proposals
- Act as sparring partner to the management board and the wider organization on strategic perspectives, project management and operational business development
- Focus on achieving tangible results beyond the conceptualization and contributing to the success of the company and our strategic objectives
